Mohamed obtained his degree from the University of Boumerdes, Algeria, where he worked during his master's thesis on confronting spiking neurons models to understand the right level of biological abstraction. His current PhD research is focused on understanding how biological visual systems adapt to movement of the body to overcome the sensorimotor ambiguity, emphasizing the transmission of information from eyes to the brain.
